Yacon Syrup contains a high percentage of Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) a natural prebiotic sweetener. A prebiotic nourishes the "good" bacteria - or probiotics in your gut, this can help protect you against infections caused by "bad" bacteria such as salmonella and e.coli. Helps build immunity and aides recovery after a course of antibiotics.
The FOS in Yacon Syrup is a prebiotic and can act as a transporter of antioxidants. Fructooligosaccharides are indigestible sugars that pass through your digestive system, on the way they eliminate toxins from your body and can help relieve constipation.
Diabetic friendly - you get the sweet without the sugar spike. 
Yacon Syrup is low in calories and contains soluble fibre - making you feel full for longer. It has a glycemic index of 1 (Honey 50, Sugar 65). 
You can use Yacon Syrup in baked goods, smoothies, desserts, sauces, tea, coffee, dressings, yoghurt or make a round of fizzy drinks for the kids.
